I’m a visual artist based in Yorkshire, UK. I received a BA in Fine Art from Aberystwyth University, Wales and went on to complete my MA in Fine Art, graduating in 2018. In my work I aim to recreate the feeling of being immersed in the landscape. I let experiences from different places blend and collide; where varied applications of paint and colour are balanced to create works that are energetic and adventurous in spirit. I typically work in oils, utilising the push and pull of the medium, using gestural marks and atmospheric washes to mirror the physicality of the mountains, the geology of the rock, and the dynamics of the landscape.
